Several optional activities will be organised for lunchtimes. Please note that the cost of these activities are not included in the registration.
Delegates who wish to partake in different activities during the lunch break could enjoy a leisurely lunch at the resort or marina area, take advantage of the use of non-motorised water craft which are included in their accommodation fee, lounge by the many swimming pools, explore the island or participate in other adventure sports available through commercial operators on the island. The Tour Desk at our hotel will be able to provide you with information on the many options available.

The lunchtime activity arranged for Wednesday is joining a commercial cruise (www.fantasea.com.au) to Whitehaven Beach.
On the eastern side of the uninhabited Whitsunday Island see nature at its unspoiled, spectacular best. Relax and enjoy an unhurried visit to magical Whitehaven Beach. With 7 kilometres of natural silica sand, enjoy Fantasea's free beach activities, swim in the crystal clear water or simply lay back, relax and indulge yourself...you deserve it. The cost of this cruise is
$75 adult (representing a $10 discount for conference delegates) and $32 for children (5-15yrs)
and includes a BBQ lunch and afternoon tea.
Board your vessel at 11:30am on Hamilton Island and enjoy a Barbeque lunch while we depart for Whitehaven Beach at 12:00noon.

Gently Does It
Whitehaven Beach is located in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. It's a protected area, so please ensure you take nothing away from the beach with you except photos and memories, and please make sure you don't leave any rubbish behind. Please leave it as you found it - perfect!

On Thursday we will be able to participate in a bushwalk around Hamilton Island. Christian Robert has very kindly offered to lead us on a gentle trek whereby we will be able to admire the natural beauty of the island as well as the truly magnificent views of the Whitsunday Island group which can be obtained from various vantage points on Hamilton.
